What wedding journeys can you cover?
Most couples start with the bridal car: the bride and her father, or whoever is walking her in, from home or the hotel to the ceremony. From there we can add the groom and groomsmen, close family, the journey from the ceremony to the reception, and guest transfers between hotels and the venue.
Late-night returns are popular too. If guests are staying in a hotel a few miles from the reception, a booked car at the end of the night means nobody has to think about driving or finding a taxi.
How do you plan the timings?
A wedding is a timetable nobody wants to think about on the day. We meet or call you beforehand, go through every address and every time, and build in a buffer for photographs and traffic. Then on the day we turn up early in a car that looks the part.
Send us the plan as early as you can: the addresses, the ceremony time, how many people need to travel and when. If the photographer wants a stop on the way from the church to the reception, tell us and we will plan it into the route.
What does the chauffeur do on the day?
Our chauffeurs wear a suit, hold the door, and know when to stay out of the photographs. They drive slowly enough for pictures as you arrive and keep the newlyweds' first journey together quiet and unhurried.
Bottled water is on board as standard, and ribbons in your colours are available on request. Tell us your colour scheme when you book.
Which cars can we choose?
Our luxury cars take three passengers and are the usual choice for the bride and for the couple after the ceremony. For bridesmaids, family or guests, the 7-seater MPV carries up to six passengers, and a standard saloon takes up to four. Many weddings use a mix: a luxury car for the bridal party and an MPV running guest transfers.
Ask us which cars are available for your date when you get in touch, and we will suggest a combination that suits the number of people and the venues.
Where do you cover for weddings?
We are based in Solihull and cover weddings across Solihull, Knowle, Dorridge, Meriden, Balsall Common, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Stratford-upon-Avon. The countryside between Solihull, Warwick and Stratford has plenty of churches, country houses and hotels, and we are happy to travel further for the right day.
What should we send you?
The easiest way to get an accurate price is to send the date, the address the bride is leaving from, the ceremony venue and time, the reception venue, and how many guests need transport and from where. If you have the photographer's schedule, send that too. We will come back with a suggested plan for the cars and the times, and you can change it until it works for you.
How is wedding car hire priced?
The price depends on the cars you choose, the number of journeys and the distance between the venues. Send us the plan for the day and we will come back with one fixed price for all of it, confirmed in writing, and hold the date for you.
