Getting around Birmingham
Birmingham is the other half of our patch. We take people into the city for work around Colmore Row, Brindleyplace and the Jewellery Quarter, for shopping at the Bullring, and for conferences, concerts and shows at the ICC and Symphony Hall. We collect from the three city centre stations, New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill, which is handy when you arrive with luggage or after the last bus has gone.
For appointments, we drive to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Edgbaston and Heartlands Hospital in Bordesley Green, and we can wait and bring you home, quoted as one fixed price.
Birmingham Airport and the NEC
Birmingham Airport is about 9 miles from the city centre along the A45 Coventry Road, around 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic, and longer at rush hour. If you are flying from further away, the M6 heads north to Manchester and the M40 and M1 head south to the London airports. We monitor your flight at no extra charge, and meet and greet in arrivals is available for a small base cost.
The NEC and Resorts World sit right next to the airport and Birmingham International station. For exhibitions and events, we can collect your team from a city hotel in the morning and bring them back in the evening, or run visitors between the station, the NEC and their hotel.
Business travel and longer journeys
For meetings in the city, our executive transfers come with a suited driver and the route planned before you set off, and you can book by the journey, the hour, a half day or a full day. Corporate accounts are welcome. If you are flying into Birmingham for a meeting in the city, we can collect you from arrivals with meet and greet and drive you straight to the office. For anything going further, we travel nationwide from Birmingham, door to door, at a price agreed before the day.
