What are insurance company transfers?
When someone has an accident or a breakdown, they often cannot drive their own car for a while. Their insurer or claims handler may arrange transport for them instead. We take those requests and carry out the journeys: home from the scene, to a hospital appointment, to collect a repaired car from the body shop, or to get to work while the claim is being dealt with.
The policyholder gets a clean car and a calm driver at a stressful time, and the insurer gets a journey that is booked, documented and invoiced properly. Bookings are confirmed in writing before the journey, so everyone has the same details.
Who can send us a transfer request?
We accept requests from insurance companies, claims handlers and the firms that manage claims on their behalf. Send the request by email to info@kgnexecutivetransfers.co.uk or call 0121 414 0786, with the claim reference, the policyholder's name and contact number, the pick-up and drop-off addresses, and the date and time.
If you are a policyholder, ask your insurer or claims handler to book with us directly. That way the journey is authorised and billed to the claim from the start.
How does invoicing work?
Every journey is invoiced directly to the insurer with the claim reference on it, so it can be matched to the right file without any back and forth. The policyholder does not pay on the day and does not need to keep receipts.
Before each journey we confirm the booking in writing with a fixed price, and that is the amount on the invoice. If the insurer authorises a series of journeys, for example regular hospital appointments, we can confirm them together.
What kind of journeys do you cover?
Common requests are hospital and clinic appointments, journeys to and from repair centres and body shops, courtesy journeys while a car is off the road, and getting someone home after an incident. We cover Solihull, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Kenilworth and the surrounding areas, and we travel nationwide when a policyholder needs to get further.
Local hospitals include Solihull Hospital, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, University Hospital Coventry and Warwick Hospital. If the passenger needs a female driver, a larger car or extra time getting in and out, include it in the request.
What happens on the day of the journey?
The driver arrives at the agreed time with the policyholder's name and the details of the trip. If the passenger is recovering from an injury, the driver allows extra time to get in and out of the car and helps with any bags. Once the journey is done, it goes onto the invoice to the insurer with the claim reference, ready to match to the file.
Why use a family-run firm for claims transport?
You deal with the people who run the business, not a call centre. Requests are answered by the family, journeys are confirmed in writing, and the driver who turns up has the details of the job. For a policyholder who may be shaken or recovering, that steadiness matters.
Bookings are taken seven days a week, and pre-booked journeys can be at any hour, which helps when an appointment is early or a repaired car is ready late in the day.
